My work, in the various fields listed on my About Me page, addresses questions of freedom, dignity, and joy at both polity- and personal levels.

Currently available publications:

Rereading Ujamaa, Rethinking Freedom – published in Development and Change, on ujamaa and anarchy (2025). I received the Royal Historical Society’s Early Career Article Prize 2026 for this paper.

I also received the American Society for Aesthetics Irene H. Chayes New Voices Award for my work in aesthetics, which I will share here soon.
